DJ Suss d is the longtime host of Talk is Cheap a talk show started in 1995 at KWVA at the University of Oregon. DJ recorded lectures and interviews with groups against state sponsored corporatism. He was then picked up by Radio Free Cascadia in Eugene. Oregon He joined the independent media movement during the ramp up to the Battle in Seattle.

His family was employed in various facets of Real Estate. He has studied Sustainability since acquiring a copy of the Whole Earth Catalog in the 80’s. He then experimented with Sustainability in Los Angeles after buying 10 acres outside Eugene, Oregon subsequently moving there in 1994 where he worked as a bagel delivery driver for Humble Bagel. He brought bagels to the Warner Creek Tree sit allowing them to brave the winter before its shut down and the signing of the Northwest Forest Plan.

In 2000 He moved back to his home town in the San Fernando Valley to get an AA degree in Computer Aided Design. During this time He Volunteered at KPFK Los Angeles, joined Killradio.org and restarted Talk is Cheap. In 2006 He bought a Duplex in Watts with a small inheritance and improved the neighborhood with sustainable concepts before selling it in 2009. The only Job he could get with his degree was designing Security and Fire alarm systems from 2004 to 2008

He then became a truck driver in 2014 after a stint at Amazon. During one of many economic downturns he took both jobs were to learn logistics and distribution as it applies to sustainability. He occasionally did stand up comedy and posted Talk is Cheap on Radio4all. net, an independent media project during breaks from truck driving. He found a truck driving job in Eugene until a heart attack in October of 2022. At that point he started doing stand up comedy weekly and toured the country on his DJ Suss D Presidential Campaign to pass the Human Right Amendment.
