Just want to add here that the reason our overlords give for not seizing the assets of abusers like the Russian Oligarchs is they claim everyone will be afraid to put their money in US banks. Well first of all where else are they going to put it? You think China or Russia wont hesitate to seize assets at the drop of invisible hand? Seize the assets of the Russian Oligarchs and use it for reparations. That would distribute w3ealth evenly for once.
Okay, interest rates are, what, at 7%, and the Fed is talking about raising them,
so I follow the Fed as a hobby, and by the way, all of this,
please research this yourself, use your own brain, this is not for financial advice,
please. Use a financial advisor for any investments that you do. But I’m kind of an armchair
economist. Families and banking back when banks were,
well, they were savings and loans.
So there’s two reasons they raise interest rates, all right? The Fed is mandated to really,
they’re supposed to keep employment, manage employment and keep everybody employed is what they’re
mandated to do. But they’re also mandated to curb inflation. So what the theory is,
now think about this, how can raising the price of something lower prices? Well, what this does is
it just makes it harder for everybody, and so they start laying people off, and then there’s less
purchasing power in the economy. And when there’s less purchasing power, vendors theoretically are
supposed to lower their prices because no one can afford to buy them. So what that does is it…
ruins the entire economy what they’re doing is they’re purposely screwing up the economy and what
happened i lived through this in the in the 80s and 90s you know interest rates were went to um
under volcker they went to almost 20 percent and um contractors mailed boards and bricks to
congress and with a note that said these this represents the houses that won’t be built because you
raised interest rates so this is I’m not you know I’m just saying this is It’s not a theory.
This is well documented. This is what they’re trying to do. If you just look, you know, you’ve got
to do a little research. They’re not going to tell you this outright, but that’s what they’re
trying to do. The other thing, all your retirement funds are invested in treasury bonds,
and treasury bonds are based on the prime interest rate that the Fed controls.
And so this is a safe investment for people, and that’s why they, you know, retirement funds tend
to be invested in this. So it affects that. But also, there’s people that park their money.
We want people investing their money. If you’re going to do a capitalist society, in a capitalist
society, we want people investing their money. We don’t want them just parking it in the bank and
earning interest off of it. We want you to take a risk with your money. And when you park it in the
bank, you have hardly any risk, especially treasury bills. They’re the most secure thing, although
that may change. If China has their way, the Treasury may not be the most secure place to put your
money. And if we start seizing assets, too, that will affect whether people put their money in the
dollar. What they’re also doing is, when you raise interest rates,
you’re competing with other countries’ currency. And so other countries have to put their money in
dollars in order to earn the interest rates. on american u.s treasury bills uh let me give you an
example so erdogan but the but what erdogan did is you know when we raise our interest rates now
dollars come out of turkey to go to where erdogan erdogan is the president of turkey dollars come
out of turkey and come out of the turkish lira or whatever their currency is called and um they put
it in dollars because we are giving them a higher return on their investment but they have to
convert them into dollars. So what normally Erdogan would have to do is raise interest rates to
keep money in Turkey. What that does is that makes everything more expensive in Turkey.
So he resisted that a long time ago and kept interest rates down. But other countries don’t do
that. So in my opinion, this is currency manipulation. And this is what the Fed does when they want
to screw other countries. And this happened with the Greece financial crisis. Like I say,
when one country raises interest rates, now the other one has to raise interest rates. And one
economy may be healthy enough to have those higher interest rates while the other one doesn’t.
stable currency and the reason was and and this was on the on the um you would look in the in the
wall street journal and they would have the tie bot uh was what you looked at to see the most
stable currency to compare all your currencies against the the tie bot to see where how stable
everyone’s how healthy everyone’s currency was and um by the way they also used to report what was
called m1 which was the total amount of cash in the economy but since they’re printing money left
and right they stopped reporting m1 so back to the thai bot uh the thai bot was the most secure
currency up until globalization and but the you know because the thai economy was basically self
-sufficient mostly self-sufficient of course you know they exported a few things here and there
but they weren’t dependent on exports they were a tourist economy globalization comes along they
become dependent Now the Thai bot collapses and is no longer the most stable currency. So that,
to me, again, is how, in my opinion, would be currency manipulation. There’s probably other
definitions of currency manipulation.
And also, you know, when they don’t like a president, this is conspiracy theory, but I’m pretty
sure they raise interest rates on… They do raise interest rates on presidents that aren’t,
you know… fulfilling the war economy that they want and the petrodollar economy that they want.
But that’s conspiracy theory. I have no proof of that. So this is why you’re seeing interest rates.
There’s really no reason to have interest rates over 1%, 2%,
3%. That would ruin everybody’s retirement funds. What if we invested in people’s houses?
You know, for instance, this is what they did in the financial crisis was instead of bailing out
people and keeping them in their houses, they bailed out the banks. So,
you know, what if they used that? You would have a more stable economy if everybody could afford a
house and lived in a house and didn’t have to scrimp and save for every penny.
then your retirement funds could be invested in things like savings and loans that were invested in
people’s homes. You’re in my home. And so that would be a much more stable way to invest in the
economy rather than you’re dependent on China and globalization and exploitive and extractive
economies. This is all tied to interest rates.
So I don’t know if that last part made sense, but yeah, it’s all a sham.
It’s all a scam. There’s no, it’s all BS. There’s no reason to have high interest rates,
and it’s all, this is, believe me, I’ve studied this for 50 years now, and I cannot find a reason
for high interest rates other than to support the rentier class and the rentier police state that
we are subjected to. And they make money.
This is where the oligarchs and corporations make how they make their money. Thanks for listening.

I call it the anarchist book fair. It’s the anti-capitalist book fair up in Corvallis on September
12th. This is the seminar on the workshop on going to…
as a protective presence, going to Gaza as a protective presence, because apparently we can’t get
an international peace force into, we can’t get a UN peace force in to shut the whole thing down.
Like I’ve said, with all these conflicts, there should be no wars anymore. This is the 21st
century. We have modern communications. Let’s get people on the ground and just stop these wars.
They’re not going to do that. So we have to do it ourselves. So that’s what this is about,
is people going over. And I’ve done an article.
There is a boycott, divestment, and sanction movement that I’ve said all along that this is going
to affect, this Gaza war will affect Israeli tourism for the next century. No one’s going to go to
Israel for the next century or the next 10 years until they straighten this whole thing out.
But we need people on the ground to escort and be a protective presence in that area.
So it’s kind of a toss-up, which way do we go? You know, there’s planes flying over there anyway,
although Israel just lifted a ban on flying to Israel,
so there’s much more tourism that supports Israel, but there’s also tourism that is trying to stop.
and ensure that Palestinians are safe. So there’s a debate right now on which way that’s going,
and these people feel that it’s much more important to be on the ground in Israel protecting
Palestinians in Palestine and Gaza and the Middle East. Thanks for listening.
